Grade 5 Leads a Powerful Reflection with the Liturgy of the Light
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Liturgy of the Light last Thursday.
Together, we reflected on the resurrection of Jesus and joyfully welcomed back the ALLELUIA after burying it at the start of Lent.
A highlight was the moving mime by our Grade 5 students, re-enacting the crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. We were reminded to be a light in the world—through kind words, smiles, and forgiveness.

Here is the re-enactment of the performance:
Spotlight on Art
Catholic Education Week Creative Arts Exhibition
During last term’s Catholic Education Week, the artwork of two of our senior students was selected for display at the Catholic Education Week Creative Arts Exhibition.
Hannah McLaughlin and Lucas Robertson produced outstanding pieces inspired by the scripture Isaiah 60:1-2: “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.”
Their work is a reflection of both their creativity and deep understanding of the scripture. They should be very proud of their accomplishment — we certainly are.

The Time is Now!
My picture is about waking up on a nice day and seeing the whole world. He knows he has the power to make this world he lives in an incredible place.
Always remember. The time is now.

A Bright Evening in the Darkest of Times
I am the candle.
When the golden particles of the Lord are active in me, my flame shines brightest.
My flame radiates no only people who are close to the Lord but people who are further away from the flame, who might not know him.
And so, I rise and I shine.
Strike Gold Together: Seniors Explore Sovereign Hill

Written by: Grace K – Grade 5
First we arrived and had an education session.
In the session we got to learn like it was the 1850s. We all had to write our name in cursive without our right hand.
Next we went gold panning and some of us got lucky by finding gold. We did get a little bit wet but it was okay.
Quite possibly the best thing on earth happened…
WE GOT LOLLIES!
Plus we went to the mines. We ventured deep into the mines and I was trying to scare people by screaming.
