We have 32 students from Year 3 – 6 represent Holy Spirit Primary School in the District Cross Country on 9th May 2024 at Bundoora Park, 106 Plenty Road.
For some of our Year 3 students it will be a first time going down to the Cross Country. This will be the fourth time for some of our Year 6 students.
Some important information:
- 9-10 age group will run 2km
- 11-13 age group will run 3km
- The first race starts at 10:00
- Timetable and course outline attached
- If there are any parents who could help marshals for a few races could you please let Mr Allen know on the day
Here are a few comments from students about their goals for the Cross Country
This is Chelsea’s first time at the Cross Country.
“I’m excited about representing the school but nervous as it’s my first time going to a district event.

Jack was selected last year but was sick on the day.
I’ve been training hard with 2 and 3km runs. One was after a game of footy. I can’t wait to get down and race against other schools in the area.

This is Henry’s third time going to the District Cross Country.
I’m fired up for the Cross Country this year. I came 3rd in district, 11th in divisional and 24th in regionals last year. My goal this year is to make it to the next round again.
